  OUR INSPIRATION

The Spirit of the Lord is
upon me, because He hath
anointed me to preach the
gospel to the poor; He hath
sent me to heal the
brokenhearted, to preach
deliverance to the captives,
and recovering of sight to
the blind, to set at liberty
them that are bruised, To
preach the acceptable
year of the Lord.
    {Luke 4:18-19}

                                               MISSION STATEMENT

THE MISSION OF SERVANTS OF GOD MINISTRIES OF SEABROOK SOUTH CAROLINA IS TO UTILIZE EVERY AVAILABLE MEANS NECESSARY TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.  THROUGH THE DAILY COMMITMENT OF OURSELVES IN LOVE AND HUMILITY TO THE SERVICE OF GOD, OUR DEEPEST DESIRE IS TO GLORIFY GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR AS LONG AS WE ARE ON THIS "SERVANT'S JOURNEY".

                                                        WE BELIEVE

We believe
there is only one God, a Triune God personified as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  We believe that each Person of the Godhead is separate, but yet one God.    [John 10:30, 14:26]

We believe the Holy Bible to be the divinely inspired, inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.    [II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21]

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was born of the Virgin Mary after she was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit.  We believe in both the humanity and deity of Jesus Christ.   [Luke 1:31-35; John 1:14; Romans 8:3]

We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and sacrificed Himself by death on the Cross, allowing His blood to be shed for the remission of sin for all believers.  We believe in His bodily resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God the Father where He now sits making intercession for all of mankind.
[I Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 3:24-26]

We believe the Scriptural practices of Water Baptism and partaking of the Eucharist or Holy Communion to be valid rites within the body of Christian believers.  Neither practice is essential for salvation, but demonstrates genuine faith in Jesus Christ.  [Matthew 3:13-17; Acts 2:38; Mark 14:22-25; I Corinthians 11:22-26]

We believe in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell.   [Matthew 6:9-10, 24:35;
II Corinthians 12:1-2; Revelation 21:1; Ezekiel 32:16; Matthew 10:28; Revelation 1:18]

We believe in the 9 spiritual gifts bestowed upon man by the Holy Spirit; those gifts being the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, the gifts of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, divers kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues.   [I Corinthians 12:8-10, 28; Mark 16:17-18; Romans 12:6-8]

We believe that faith without works is dead.  Therefore it is the duty of every Christian believer to spread the Word of God and to actively work to provide for the physical and spiritual needs of others.   [Matthew 23:36-39; James 2:17, 20; Matthew 28:18-20;
Matthew 25:34-40]
